GEOTHERMY

In the field of geothermal energy ITA Group of Companies has been active since the year 2000. The group’s activities have primarily been the study and development of the following projects in Greece and abroad:
Viability study and business plan for the construction of a geothermal spa and hotel complex based on the island of Melos in Greece using low-enthalpy geothermal energy sources.

Viability study for the construction and operation of a greenhouse on Melos Island in Greece using low-enthalpy geothermal energy sources.

Viability study, research and evaluation of applicable technologies as well as the creation of a business plan for electrical power generation utilising low-enthalpy geothermal energy sources on the island of Melos in Greece.

Research and evaluation of applicable technologies, engineering designs and the conception of appropriate business plan scenarios for the sustainable utilisation, management and successful operation of the Aristeno geothermal field, located in the prefecture of Evros in Northern Greece.

Viability study for the construction and operation of a greenhouse based at the Eratino geothermal field, in the prefecture of Kavala in Northern Greece.

Viability study, conception of appropriate engineering designs and business plan scenario creation for the sustainable utilisation, management and operation of the N. Erasmio Magganon geothermal field located within the prefecture of Kavala in Northern Greece. These studies were undertaken within the context of ITA Group’s official tender of interest for the lease of the geothermal rights of use for the above field, after the public invitation issued by the peripheral authority of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace on 18/7/2003.

Engineering studies concerning geothermal heat pump applications in Greece and abroad.

Viability study, research and evaluation of applicable technologies, formulation of engineering designs and business plan conception for the construction and operation of a hydroponic greenhouse complex with geothermal heating technologies based in the geothermal field of Nigrita within the prefecture of Serres, Northern Greece, using low-enthalpy geothermal energy sources.

Initial viability studies and business plan definitions for the construction and operation of greenhouse complexes heated with geothermal energy in several geothermal fields of SE Europe, using low-enthalpy geothermal energy.
