AEOLIKI MILOU was honored with the Gold Award at Environmental Awards 2018
AEOLIKI MILOU SA, member of ITA Group of companies achieved a significant distinction for the Sea Water Desalination plant powered by Wind Energy on Milos island, which was installed by AEOLIKI MILOU in 2007 and has been operating ever since. A state-of-the art BOO project, the first of its kind in Greece, which offered a solution to the water shortage on Milos island at the best possible terms for the economy and the environment as well.
At the Award Ceremony of Environmental Awards 2018, which took place on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the Ariadne Estate in Varibobi, the GOLD AWARD in the category for Smart Water Technologies & Equipment was presented to the President and Founder of ITA Group of Companies, Mr. Anthony Gerassimou.
The Environmental Awards 2018 were organized for the 5th consecutive year by Boussias Communications highlighting and rewarding best practices, initiatives as well as innovative “green projects”, technologies or programmes carried out by Businesses, Organizations and Local Authorities that make an outstanding contribution to sustainable development.
